Our caring team

Our Psychology Team

At the heart of our work at Pebbles Care is a deep commitment to providing trauma-informed, compassionate, therapeutic care to the children and young people we support. At Pebbles, we have a fully embedded and integrated psychological therapy service. This service is informed by an understanding of the impact of developmental trauma on the functioning and wellbeing of young people. Our diverse and highly skilled Psychology Team is dedicated to helping children and young people heal, grow, and thrive in safe, nurturing environments.

The therapy team consists of a number of specialist and experienced therapists and therapeutic practitioners who are trained in a number of therapeutic disciplines and modalities. A psychological assessment is completed with each child and young person placed with Pebbles Care.  When there are specific areas of need identified, the Psychology team will develop packages of support to either work directly with the child or young person or to support the care teams in ensuring the identified need is met.
