Blackbrook House is situated in St Helens, in the North West, with the nearest city being Liverpool. It is within walking distance of the town centre and other local amenities such as a cinema, bowling alley, parks, gyms and youth clubs.
There are local Army and navy cadets nearby, football clubs, rugby clubs, swimming pool and lots of other sports and activities.
We have local schools around us which include junior and high schools and work with education providers to get the best results we can for our young people. The staff are extremely supportive of education and of hobbies that a young person may have and actively aid them in their education and interests.
We are close to motorways which allows easy access to other surrounding locations such as Liverpool, Manchester and Southport and have very good rail and bus service that run on a very regular basis this enables us to travel further afield if we want to.
Blackbrook House is a regular terraced home, on a regular street and while it is based on a busy road there are ample crossing facilities. The house comprises of a front garden, back yard, kitchen and living room, there is also a dining room which at present is being used as an office. Upstairs is comprised of 2 bedrooms, the largest of which is used by the young person in residence. There is also an upstairs bathroom complete with bath and shower. The entry / alleyway at the back of the home is secured by alley gates at both ends of the alleyway with only homeowners having access.
We encourage the young person who lives here to help chose the décor, not only for their own room, but around the home so that they have a say in their surroundings, their likes and dislikes. This encourages them to take pride in where they live.
Blackbrook House offers a safe, warm, clean environment to our young people to enable them to flourish and grow, surrounded by role models who inspire, motivate and care about and for them.
