Willow House is a terrace house situated in Bramley, a suburb of Leeds.
The home is suitable for one young person, and we aim to ensure that our house reflects that of a family home where the young person can feel safe, relaxed, cared for and receive a high level of support with 1:1 staffing.
The young person has a top floor bedroom with a desk and a TV, where there is privacy, plenty of space to do schoolwork and an adjacent games room.
The young person is given a key for their room and encouraged to take responsibility for their own space. The bedroom is warm and bright, and we encourage all those who come and live with us to bring their own personal possessions so they can make their bedroom feel their own and take ownership of their surroundings, allowing them to flourish.
A member of staff within the team has the responsibility for ensuring that the environment of the home is maintained to a high standard. The young person is also encouraged to use the kitchen for the preparation of food, helping them to build their skills and confidence.
The inside of the house is completed with a lounge/diner, galley kitchen, cellar, bathroom with separate shower, and a staff sleep room. The front of the house features a garden with a set of table and chairs for relaxation.
