Stoneraise Cottage is situated in Wigton, Cumbria and is in a village within easy reach of all the local attractions and amenities of Carlisle and Wigton.
Stoneraise Cottage is a large detached three-bedroom bungalow that is surrounded by large garden areas and orchards. Within the grounds we also have a vibrant and colorful summer house that the Young People living at Stoneraise Cottage have upcycled themselves with support from the staff team.
A recent project is the ‘creative craft studio” whereby the young people and staff are revamping outside buildings to create a therapeutic art space for all our young people to enjoy and flourish creatively.
Stoneraise Cottage can accommodate up to three young people from age 8 to 17 years of either gender. The home has a warm, welcoming, and family feel and provides a therapeutic, caring, and child-focused environment.
The home features a lounge, a kitchen-diner, dining room, a family bathroom, three bedrooms (two of which include an en-suite), and an office. There is a front and back garden with plenty of space to play and relax, overlooking stunning views of fields and the countryside.

At Stoneraise Cottage, we support children and young people through Therapeutic Parenting. By working therapeutically, we help change behaviours from those driven by a desire to self-harm to those where self-care feels a more satisfying option. The home receives the invaluable support of a dedicated in-house psychologist.
