Prospect House Farm
Prospect House Farm is a large three-bedroom property situated half a mile from the town of Northallerton in North Yorkshire.
The fully refurbished house has a warm and modern feel, providing a friendly and caring environment. On the ground floor there is a large lounge, and a chill out room for playing games or completing homework with access to a computer. There is also a large dining room, kitchen, utility and toilet, while upstairs there is a bathroom and three bedrooms for our young people.
We aim to ensure that our house reflects that of a family home where young people feel safe, relaxed and cared for in a non-institutionalised setting.
Each young person’s bedroom is warm and bright, and we encourage all those who come and live with us to bring their own personal possessions to make their bedroom feel like their own and take ownership of their surroundings, allowing them to flourish.
The staff team ensure that the environment of the home is maintained to a high standard and young people are encouraged to help with jobs to keep the communal areas clean and tidy, giving them more responsibilities.
The property is set amongst a non-working farm, which includes a large front garden offering the luxury of space and privacy. Prospect gives our young people the opportunity to live in a quiet area, whilst still being able to enjoy the range of amenities and services nearby.
