No.57 is a three-bedroom modern house located in the north of England in Stockton on Tees.
We are close to all transport links for buses trains and airport – the A19 and A66 and A1 are within a short distance from the house.
All the staff at No.57 strive to create a home that gives young people a sense of belonging and a warm homely atmosphere so they can feel safe and relaxed. We like to ensure our young people are involved with making our house a home, so we encourage them to decorate it however they wish, allowing them to flourish.
No.57 features a modern décor and feels very spacious, including a large kitchen with a range of fitted units. On the ground floor we have two lounges: the main lounge is very spacious and overlooks the front garden, while there is also a lovely green area with trees just opposite the home. The smaller lounge is quite funky and is designed to be a chill out room for young people, where they can play music, games consoles or spend time with friends.
We also have a lovely, bright and sunny conservatory which we utilise as a dining area. This overlooks the back garden and patio, while there is also a downstairs bathroom with a shower and toilet, plus a small laundry area. There is also an office for members of staff.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms for young people that are well furnished and decorated in neutral colours. Each young person is encouraged to make their room their own, so they can apply their own style and colour to their room if they wish.
Close by, there are good schools and colleges that will provide good education and training opportunities for all young people.

By working therapeutically, we help change behaviours from those driven by a desire to self-harm to those where self-care feels a more satisfying option. The home receives the invaluable support of a dedicated in-house psychologist.
