Kirran Cottage is a four-bedroom detached property situated in Bacup, Lancashire.
The house has a fitted kitchen, lounge, young person’s computer room and a utility room with a toilet and wash basin. The office and staff sleep-in room is also situated on the ground floor, just off the entrance hall. Upstairs there are four bedrooms for our young people, plus a family bathroom and a separate shower room with a toilet and wash basin.
Each of the young person’s rooms are warm and bright and we encourage all those who come and live with us to bring their own personal possessions in order to make their bedroom feel their own and let them flourish. We also provide each young person with a TV and CD/radio in their bedroom.
At the front of the property, there is a large lawn and gorgeous flower beds. At the back of the property there is a parking area for four vehicles with a large garden where young people can play, relax, enjoy a BBQ, and grow their own flowers and vegetables.
Kirran Cottage has a wide of range of leisure activities available in the area including a cinema, theatres, swimming pools, ice skating, laser quest, skate parks and bowling.

By working therapeutically, we help change behaviours from those driven by a desire to self-harm to those where self-care feels a more satisfying option. The home receives the invaluable support of a dedicated in-house psychologist.
