Hey Fold Barn is registered with Ofsted and offers two spacious bedrooms for each of the children or young people. There are also two carer bedrooms and a shared bathroom between the 2 young people. Hey Fold Barn is a semi-detached property in a stunning rural location with views overlooking the nearby hills and fells. We aim to ensure that our house reflects that of a family home, where young people feel safe, relaxed and cared for.
The layout of the home has been designed to provide a healthy balance between safety, security, and privacy. Hey Fold Barn has views over local fells and hills and is set in a rural area, each young person has access to a shared bathroom with shower. There is a lounge area which has a large dining room/ entrance room set of it, there is also has a large modern kitchen. Within the grounds there is a spacious garden which has a stream running through it, the stream is fenced and walled either side with a bridge going across it to ensure everyone’s safety. There is also a large, grassed paddock area at the end of the driveway which we are able to use as a play area. The home has a double garage which is kept locked and used more for storage.

At Hey Fold Barn, we support children and young people through Therapeutic Parenting. By working therapeutically, we help change behaviours from those driven by a desire to self-harm to those where self-care feels a more satisfying option. The home receives the invaluable support of a dedicated in-house psychologist.
