Lily House

Lily House is a nurturing and well-equipped four-bedroom detached children’s home, located in a semi-rural area on the outskirts of Burnley, Lancashire.

Lily House is registered with Ofsted to provide care and accommodation for two children or young people, aged 8 to 17 years, of mixed genders.  Our aim is to provide a stable, structured, and supportive environment that promotes healing, growth, and positive outcomes.  The home is designed to meet all statutory requirements for health, fire, and personal safety. We have robust, bespoke health and safety policies in place that identify and manage any known or perceived risks within the environment.

We are committed to providing a homely, warm, and welcoming environment, where children feel safe, cared for, and valued. Our staff team is dedicated to building trusting relationships and offering consistent emotional support to help each young person achieve their full potential

Our approach to care is child-centered, trauma-informed, and therapeutic, ensuring every young person feels respected, listened to, and supported in a way that recognizes their individual experiences and needs.

Therapeutic 24/7

At Lily House, we support children and young people through Therapeutic Parenting. By working therapeutically, we help change behaviours from those driven by a desire to self-harm to those where self-care feels a more satisfying option. The home receives the invaluable support of a dedicated in-house psychologist.
