We are delighted to have received an impressive array of artwork from both our young people and employees as part of our Christmas card competition 2022. Everyone involved in this activity had a great time being creative, displaying their talents, and spreading the Christmas spirit.
To keep the competition fair and fun, it was decided to select winners separately from both the employees and young people’s entries, with prizes given out to the winners of both categories. After some difficult decision-making due to the amount of beautiful designs received, the judges managed to come to a decision of who these deserving winners would be.
First place winner from the young people’s entries is D., who used pebbles and other materials to create this heart-warming snowy scene design.
Second place went to O., who showcased the magic of the festive season through this beautiful Christmas tree at night.
Third place was split between two designs. The lovely Christmas tree snow globe with a powerful message by H., and the great cartoon character Christmas scene by R.
The message from H. perfectly resonates with the Christmas spirit at Pebbles, as it reads:
Christmas is about spending time with your family. Whether it’s your real family or your chosen family, they love you just the same.
Displayed below are some of the other wonderful entries we received from our young people.
First place from our employees entries went to Jo-Anna McCulloch from Murraythwaite, who displayed her fantastic drawing skills in this festive snowman design.
Second Place went to Mirren Aird from our Dunfermline School with this very cute Pebbles Santa.
Third place went to Kirstie McGregor from our Dunfermline school with this creative take on a Christmas tree using Celtic symbols.
Shown below are some of the other fabulous designs by our dedicated team members.
Inside one of our employees’ card entries was a beautiful poem about the meaning of Christmas, which we thought deserved to be shared too.
Christmas isn’t about the gifts, that’s just a little part. It’s really about all the kindness and love that comes right from the heart.
The dreams of Rudolf the reindeer preparing himself to fly, the magical way that he guides Santa’s sleigh high up in the sky.
Christmas is a time to share happiness and kindness to all we meet, even if its just a smile to a stranger we see on the street.
The world becomes a lovely place at this time of year, where everyone’s much happier and spreading Christmas cheer.
All your wishes can come true if you wish upon the brightest star, this Christmas I’m sending love to you to know how special you are.
