James Doyle

Head of Commissioning and Marketing

Following on from roles in journalism, marketing, and residential care, James joined Pebbles Care in 2017 to oversee the commissioning department, having successfully performed a parallel role in the sector.

James is a graduate from Glasgow University (M.A.), is a REPS Level 3 certified Personal Trainer and has obtained both a Professional Certificate and Diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

With his role primarily focussing on procurement and business development, James has overall responsibility for collaborating with Local Authority colleagues to identify positive destinations for young people within our services.

James ensures stakeholders are well-engaged within the Pebbles ethos to ‘Nurture, Develop, Flourish’ and works in partnership with Local Government to provide bespoke solutions to local challenges and the individual needs of young people.

James has developed a strong network of relationships across the UK and works in partnership with Local Authorities and partner agencies to determine the positioning of the Pebbles Care residential portfolio.

James contributes to strategic planning, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our services, which continue to be safe and healing destinations for young people.
